Sometimes the job requires that you openly duplicate something someone in the media wore, simply because thats just what the client wants, and as the rule still stands, what the client whats the client must get otherwise the situation will quickly get messy between all parties involved, but being cleaver about it is what leaves everyone satisfied and maintaining a good level of pride.
Im just saying, this wasn't bad at all.

JAIL HOUSE ROCK
Putting together this outfit was an absolute blast for me considering I had no idea I was doing it until well into the process. I found the pants randomly once, while out on yet another unscheduled shopping stint, and made no efforts to use them for a few months after. In the back of my mind I think I had already decided, while purchasing the pants, that they would probably have more value if they were to be worn with a like top half to seam into the pajamas trend.
Later on, I discovered what now
is the perfect addition to my 'Jail house rock' look, while out looking for
some pieces for an award show I got to do styling for, in the perfect
little shirtdress. Unfortunately for the dress, faultless as it was, I
had to make the decision to sacrifice it and just cut it up, of cause only after having worn it once as a dress, in order to close a pressing deal I had unconsciously made several months prior.Friday, 17 May 2013

To pull this trend off successfully, always keep it simple with classic shapes and clean lines. Keep accessories at a minimum to keep a modern, balanced mood of style.
I'm loving the easy 'just a vest' casual feeling created by this sequin vest, designed by Diane von Furstenberg at Paris Fashion Week, and the classic silhouette of Victoria Secret model Karolina Kurkova's full sequin dress designed for her by Stylist Rachel Zoe at the Met Ball this year.

London based 'punk' Fashion Designer VIVIENNE WESTWOOD has been selected to redesign Virgin
Atlantic's famed red uniforms. This is absolutely exiting to me because of my connection
to Aviation, my devoted unconditional love for Vivienne Westwood, and The
inspiration that is 'Sir Richard Branson', What a combo.
Apparently the uniform will be made from recycled materials-including polyester yarn that originated from plastic bottles and canvas created from reused roadside banners and leather off-cuts - and also incorporate Westwood's well-tailored, figure-hugging signature. The uniform will make its debut for the first time in July 2013, before the official launch in 2014, as seen on VOGUE.CO.UK
Collaborations between Airlines and Fashion are always
exciting and mutually beneficial.
