LuckyMe Clothing

If i may draw your attention to the navy Masterpiece of a Hat hanging on the Mannequin.  I found it at one of my favorite fabric stores not too long ago, I couldn't believe it...How stunning?!

Of cause it wasnt for sale, so i had to literally beg for almost an hour for the Manager to just put a price on it and let it go.  I explained in the best way possible to him that there would be no way i would be leaving without it, and assured him that it would certainly have a much better life with me.

Just look at it...What an amazing piece of creativity in the name of Fashion.  I LOVE MY JOB.
It allows me to collect all sorts of things that i sometimes don't have a personal use for, except to share them with you, without it being labeled as hoarding:) ;)

In this look I wear a white LuckyMe crop shirt, a new addition to our collection which i'm obsessed with, along with this High waist LuckyMe african print skirt.

A Zebra detail Necklace, a leather Guess bag and my new favorite Europa art Wedge slip on's.

Life is too short to not have fun with your Fashion...Enjoy it!

Happy Valentine's Day

So today i've decided to celebrate by wearing a full sequins short sleeve top...i know, it might seem a bit dressy for day time but today being Valentine's Day and all, i think Iits the perfect garment for the occasion.

Iv stacked it up with my KatalistKollection nude choker and pink clear beads choker, which I'm completely obsessed with, I literally will not leave the house without them.

Just to be even more OTT, I've added a pearl collar necklace and a long pendent gold necklace.

I decided on this vintage bad because it has a bit of a romantic story, which i think is perfect for the theme of the day.  When i purchased it a couple of years ago, it came with congratulations letters from a florist in Joburg CBD dating back to 16 December 1948...how cool is that!)

I've finished off my look with basic black leggings, a long t-shirt and my wooden thick heel clogs.

View from the top just for fun!)

Hope you have an awesome day this Valentine's, try and do something special for yourself or for someone else, it is after all a day set out to encourage the celebration of Love in all its shapes and sizes...Have some fun with it.

Throwback: Stonewashed Denim and lipstick

So I'm obsessed with these plastic bow wedges, they work with almost anything and they are super comfortable not to mention super cute, I have them in three different colours.

The stonewashed denim was a lucky coincidence, i was actually having a bit of a wardrobe malfunction that morning, landed on this look just before deciding not to leave the house anymore...lol!

I'm also obsessed with everything Mac and i had run out of some of my life savers, as things would turn out we ended up having to drive to three different branches to finally get the perfect shade so we decided to make the best of it, have a lil fun.

I also picked up a some new lip colour for flavour.

But the shade the lady is wearing in the poster though...

Weapons of mass distraction!)

LMClothing

LMClothing

These photo's where taken almost five years ago, since then iv posted and sheared some of them, but mostly they've just been in storage, so i thought i'd dust them off, clean them up a bit and present them as part of a recap  of LMClothing's look book over the years.
They represent a young fire to me, the beginning of something special.  All we had then was a camera, our home and a small bunch of sample garments i had randomly been making  between my studies, work and what ever clients i could manage.  Kido was kind enough to lend me her body, as she has had to too many more times over the years, while i tried to find my way behind the camera.

I learned and experienced a lot since then, I've had enormous amounts of help and I've struggled on my own at times, either way I'm grateful for this journey.  Im still as eager to learn as i was back then and i now understand better that the power of an attitude of wanting to do and learn, along with passion, perseverance, a positive mental attitude and a bit of magic is the key to unlocking the door to my endless possibilities.
